Winemaking Series: Blending Red WinesJanuary 25 2021 | 6:00 PM - 7:30 AM
The art of blending wines has taken shape over thousands of years. It gives winemakers the chance to express the diversity of a region while merging science with art to create complexity. In this class, we will cover the ‘why’ and ‘how’ to blend, along with tasting classic examples from the old world and the new world. The class is on Monday, 01.25.21, and it will be taught over Zoom by Scott Ota, our General Manager and Beverage Director. Tickets are $60 for the class with the wines or just $10 for the class pass. We hope you’ll join us for some fun, socially distanced education and drinking!
The wines featured in the class are as follows:
- Solitude 2018 Cotes du Rhone
- Revelry 2016 'Range' Columbia Valley
- Chateau La Croix Bellevue 2015 Lalande de Pomerol
- Leviathan 2014 California
And purchasing a class pass with the wines will also contribute one hour towards our nonprofit labor program!
Pickup for this class is operating hours on Sunday, 01.24.21, or Monday, 01.25.21 from 12pm - 4pm.
